You could use PAI MILITARY PACKAGES
I do mine the old-fashioned way: build the parking using AF2, d/l addon MIL planes, write the flightplans.txt and compile using TTools. Puts the planes where and when I want them.

Check out my reply to your question in the FS2002 forum.

i went to that place and d/l one of the packages the Altus AFB one and i dont know how to install it, it came with no instuctions.

I believe full installation instructions are posted on the PAI website. I've not tried their packages myself but they are very popular.

You need to download the PAI installer for any of the PAI files to work. Just put the files in the same folder as the installer is in and it is a done deal.

Having said all this about all that if the flightplan for the flying AI planes uses the WEEK algorithm the planes sit at the airport most of the time anyway.

Bill
P.S. Rwy12 has a limited amount of static airlines and many GA planes

ok, i DL the PAI installer and when i went to run it, it says

fatal error during installation. Process is terminated

error # 101
error message   Unable to locate file PAIinstaller.LIB This file must be in the same folder as the PAI installer.

i installed it and everything like i was suppose to but when i clicked on the icon to run the program that message popped up.

what am i suppose to do?

Inside your PAI Installer folder, you need the following items:  PAI Installer (application - with PAI logo), PAI Installer LIB File, and TTools.  If yours isn't set up this way then do a search for PAI LIB and copy that file into the same folder mentioned above.  Then you will be in business!

ok, i ran a search and it did not find the file. is it normal for this file not to come with it? do i need to DL it seperatly from the actual installer itself?

Make sure you check all your folders that came with the PAI download - if you don't find that LIB file then would recommend re-downloading the entire package.  It's in there for sure, I have it from the same source.

I've not tried the PAI stuff myself but I can't understand why you're having problems. I downloaded the installer (pai_installer_v25.zip) to check it out. This should be what you get when you unzip the file.

I assume the LIB file I've highlighted is the one we're talking about. If you downloaded the correct zipfile & it extracted there's no way yours can be any different.
