REMOVE ORIGINAL OBJECTS FROM PARKINGS

Postby blood01 » Sat Dec 04, 2004 5:59 am

Hello,

Nobody answers my last post.?.?.?.? there is no people can help? it's strange :)

So I tried some way to resolve my problem. But nothings works :(  ???

I explain the problem one more time : I modified some airports with AFCAD 2.21. (adding parkings) BUT when I launch FS2004, i see autogen trees ands buildings in the middle of my parkings. (very funny to see a TORNADO with branch getting out the cockpit but not realistic).  This airport file is saved in fs2004/addonscenery/scenery/AF2_EBBT.bgl . If i check the scenery.cfg, i see that AFCAD but this airport in layer38, area 38.

I sse on some topics that the way to get out these unwanted ovjects is to put an exclusion file.... I use FSSC to make an exclusion file BUT ALL MY EBBT MODIFIED AIRPORT DISSAPEARS. I tried to make the exclusion file with the different option (check scenery, VOS, ILS...) but nothing works. I see my planes but not the taxi, not the runways the only good thing is....the tress dissapears.

My question is HOW CAN I DO AN EXCLUSION FILE ONLY FOR THE ORIGINAL OBJECTS AS TREES HOUSE ETC... ?

THANK YOU FOR TAKING A LITTLE TIME TO ANSWER and sorry for my bad english..

This will probably not be much help, but I think I have seen posts before about writing exclusions so you could try searching for it.

I think this maybe a limitation with AFCAD. I do not use AFACD but use FSSC so when you use the exlsuion it removes all other created scenery.  I guess when you have used FSSC it has excluded the AFCAD changes you created.

I use FSSC because it removes the need to understand all the finer points or tech knowledge of computer prog etc,,  Sorry not much help.
