Does anyone know how I can install a working windsock in FS2004 using either FSSC or AFCAD ?

What do ya mean by "workijg?" The default one changes slope and direction based on wind velocity and source -- doesn't it? It does that in FS2002 -- where I fly.

Exactly. ;)

Maurice. I don't know the answer but think it should be possible. I suggest you might do better in the Scenery Design forum.

On your other topic, I successfully removed the default runway on Mull with AFCAD. This leaves a grass strip that doesn't look too bad. I don't know how to change the texture or how it's defined.

Thanks both for the replies.

Yes the default windsock in FS2004 that appears at some airports does work as described, but how would I use the default windsock as a macro or otherwise add it to a location where it does not exist ?

I too removed the airport at Glenforsa to the correct location using AFCAD, but cannot as you say remove the original ground texture and profile.

I will try the scenery forum as you suggest
