I'm still in FS 2002 ::)

When I try to export out Gmax files in .bgl form, it says:

Don't know how to save that kind of file.

Two facts:

1. I DO have makeMDL in the plugins folder on Gmax.

2. I am using Gmax version 1.2

Could Somebody help me? ???

You need the export module for FS2002, FSModelExp.dle, in your C:\Gmax\plugins directory. This originally only came with the gamepack in the FS2002Pro version but you might be able to find a bootleg copy on the net.
