Hi yaw
I would like to start making my own scenery object such as hangers .
what would be a good stater program for a newbe??

Hi yal
I downloaded Airports for Windows to creat scnery for FS9 to day and was working on creating a new hangr for Moffet Fild , I also downloaded FSUIPC.dll 3.3.0.0 . Now I'm getting error FSUIPC messag, do I need to pay for the FSIUPC to b able to creat scenery ? Or is that why I'm getting the error messag

Hey Batman,
FSUIPC is a payware product, so yes, you need to pay in order to use it, but you don't need it to design scenery.

Ok that good .
can you give me some of the in and outs in scenery design as I,m just getting started at this. I'v bee working on Moffet Filed I'v addit parking for military AI traffic ,and so I need to laren to make scenery such as some hangers.
So any help would be good togo.

Hey Batman,
Most of what I know about scenery designing is related to CFS 2.
The hangers you can make using EOD. It may look hard, but the design below took me about 5 minutes to make. Once you have the basic design done, you can texture each part (The roof, doors and walls) by clicking on the Texture tab in the bottom left corner of the screen. You can also make the hanger crashable, so that if you fly an aircraft into it, you crash.

Ok I have don this allready. Os My question is how do I get it in to my flight sim FS9 , where I want it, and how can see what it looks like be for I put in FS9??

Hey Batman,
I don't have any experience with scenery designing in FS, but maybe this will help...
Once you have finished and have textured the EOD file, save it and compile it as a Macro. From there take the macro and place it in the Macro folder of your Scenery program. To get the macro into FS, you will need to use the macro in a scenery project. Once you have filled in all the data for where you want to place the scenery (Latitude, Longitude, Altitude and Heading), save it and then compile it. From here you can activate it using the Scenery Library in FS.

EOD has a 3D Preview that you can use, but everything you texture will show up as one colour. In order to see how the hanger looks in FS, you would need to compile it and then look at it from within FS

Well I'v tryed what you sed I have the hanger all don.
But I'm having a problem whith Runing EODSetup.exe.
what is
API macro path: Location where EOD will save API files
ASD macro path: Location where EOD will save SCM files for ASD.
I dont know what these path are
also I downloaded SceneGenX Scenery Generator for FS2004
do I need this to wow!!! this maybe over my head

Hey Batman,
You need to input the path into EOD under Project --> Options --> Paths

Create a folder inside the main EOD folder called Project-Files (Or something like that) and then create a folder called API Macro and another folder called ASD Macro. Then go into EOD and point the paths to the corresponding folders

No problem

Scasm is a scenery assembler. I'm not sure if it's included with Airports for Windows, but I know it comes with FSSC (Flight Simulator Scenery Creator). You can also download it from the site below. Have a look in the Airport for Windows folder for scasm.exe, if it's there, then just point the Scasm path in EOD to the scasm.exe file

Ok I downloaded Fssc. will this work with FS9? I know that FS9 is alittle diffrent than FS200 and FS2002 ?
So I will be working on this for awhile.
