Since ive had great help off Doug with using EOD and FSSC ive been experimenting but whenever i make a hanger macro with an open door, the macro is transparent in some parts but re appears from different angles. kind of like a flickering macro depending on where you are!!

Hi Ant. Just a thought straight from the hip. Check that the textures you're using aren't transparent. If it's the same without textures it's possible the parts are transparent. I copied this from EOD Help.
Paint this side:
Check this box to activate texture file selection. If unchecked, the side in question will not have a texture applied and will remain transparent (invisible) in FS2000.

Bear in mind that EOD was originally released for FS98/2000.

I don't know why you're messing around like this unless you're enjoying it. Have a punt round. There should be plenty of existing hangar macros of all types posted here & on other sites. I've used one with animated doors that open when you get close enough in FS2002. Not sure it would work in FS9 but it's worth trying. There's also a good selection bundled with FSSC.

i think im enjoying it because im learning new things AND im achieving things (granted, not much, but some things) ::) :P

The reason for building is i am yet to find a 1 able to park in which is big enough, most are for smaller planes.

the only one with a moving door was the Eaglesoft one which i have downloaded and actually managed to install by myself, lol ;D

thanks again
ant.

Any links to premade hangers that do move etc would be helpful, thankyou.

pic soon, i promise. ::) ;)

OK. That's fine. ;)

I can't remember where I found these macros now. I'm mainly interested in CFS2 but most of the macros work in FS2002 & I imagine FS9. The pioneers in the field of dynamic macros were Martin Wright & Ralf-J Triebel. I doubt their stuff would be the right era or big enough for your purposes. Here's Ralf-J's stuff.

I look forward to seeing your progress. :)
