Village Scenery

Back in FS6 days I created my home village with all the different types of houses etc., using VOD.SCASM & various other progs. I then left FlightSimming & like a fool disposed of the files I had created.

Now I have returned to FS with FS9 I would like to recreate the same thing but although VOD works ok SCASM fails to compile it with no indication of why.
What can I now use to do the job ?

Thanks
Alan

FSSC is easy to work with- and is a small download.

Hi Alan. EOD is easier to use than VOD & compatible with FS9. http://www.echos.ch/eod/

Airport & FSSC are the best free conventional scenery design programs.
http://www.airportforwindows.com/
http://fssc.avsim.net/
Both will import the API macros you create with EOD.

Things have moved on apace since FS6. Much more is now possible using the completely different methods & new tools like Gmax. You might like to check out the scenery SDKs posted on the M$ Insider site. http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimulator/fs2000_devdesk_sdk.asp
