this maybe a dumb question but if my airport is located at these cordinates  N61* 00.00'   E050* 00.00'
what would be the cordinates of a airport five miles further north?

also does anyone know of a utility to put in ai traffic if there is not any control tower?

what about effects when i did cfs2 i used to make maps with ground smoke and fires does anyone do this or can it be done with 2002 or 2004?

Coordinates. Dunno. Best is just to slew or fly there, do Shft-Z a coupla times and read the coords from your screen.

You don't need to have a control tower for AI in FS9. If you have 2002, you only need to add a control tower frequency using AFCAD, you don't need a visual tower

You can add effects no problem. Very easy with FS9 using the new XML code of the new Scenery SDK. Not sure what you mean by 'maps' though as I'm not a CFS person (very much not )
