In FSSOUNDSCAPE I can use it and it works fine...until I exit the sim or turn off the player. The files are all in the folder. I noticed that an addons scenerys sound works but the default and my own sound doesnt work. HELP!

You might want to check the actual wav. files and make sure they are still there and have the "wav" extension on them It is possable that when you saved the new files that it changed the origanal ones by putting a "bak" extension on them. I ran into a simalar problem with a program and moved it and saved any fies to a different folder not in the FS folder.  As a rule of thumb I do not run any third party software from the fs folder nor do I save any files there. I make a special folder for that. Some third party software has a nasty habbit of changing things you are not aware of unitl you go to run FS 8)

Sorry man ??? Sounds like you ran into a tough one. Which usually means its some stupid little thing we have overlooked ;D
If the files you mention are made by that program then that may be only way you can hear them. You might be able to put them in the effects folder but you may have to make your own sound cfg file for them.

The weird thing is, I have an add-on scenery that works fine in Lago.
