How do i open a BGL in FSSC

Maybe im just stupid but i can't open a existing bgl in FSSC, there is a way to do it im pretty sure but i can't figure it out!  if any one can help i would appreciate it because im reworking an airport from myself and some of my friends.

I could be wrong, but I don't think it is possible to open FS2k2 or 2k4 *.bgl files with FSSC.  But what exactly do you want to edit?  A physical part of the scenery or the way the ATC and AI handle around the airport?  If its the latter, go get AFCAD.  Its specifically designed to do that sort of thing.

If you want to mess with the physical appearence of the airport, I would suggest you clear the area with FSSC and then make a new airport.  It'll probably be much easier than editing the existing one.

Cjmurphy87,

EnderBaron is correct, FSSC will not open bgl files for you. It can only open its own file type- the *.scn files.

There are decompiling utilities around that will to some extent decompile a bgl into the *.sca (the intermediate SCASM code) from which the .bgl files are compiled by SCASM. You can then edit the .sca code in a text editor and then recompile using SCASM.

This may not have helped but hopefully it explained a bit! ;)
