Gmax landable scenery

Postby Travis » Sat Nov 08, 2003 8:32 pm

Is there a way to make Gmax files landable?  I know that there is no way to make Gmax do this, so can I make the file in Gmax and then stick it in some other program and "harden" the surface so I can land an aircraft on it?

I'm making a rig in the middle of the ocean, and want to make a runway (yes, RUNWAY!) across it.  Is this possible?

Enderbaron,

You could probably do it with the new AFCAD.  That is if you are using ii for FS2004.  That's just a guess.... I haven;t done it.  But the new AFCAD creates visual runways with various surface types.

best,

Okay, I want to create this scenery for BOTH 2k4 and 2k2, seeing as I am using 2k2 and the rest of the world runs on 2k4! ;D

Seriously, I have never used AFCAD!  Where do I get it, what do I do with it, will it convert from Gmax, HEEEELLLLLPPPP!!! ;)
