Points to consider in your request:"
1. What do YOU bring to the new group, other than being its "head".
2. Are you a scenery designer?
3. What is your overall role?
4. What is the intended scope (will you concentrate of geopgraphical areas/scenery, or specific airports, places of interest)?
This is not meant to discourage, but rather to help "package" the group/concept. In other words, you're "selling" prospective designers to join your concept.

Sounds like a good idea :)
Something else to consider though...
What simulators will you design the scenery for?
Most people fly CFS 2, CFS 3, FS 2002 and FS 2004... It's a broad market :)
I would suggest that you design some freeware scenery first, then get some feedback from the community before you decide to go payware.

I am not a designer but i want to organize this and promote it. I want to assemble a great team of designers. I want to design for FS2002 and FS2004, i was also thinking of starting with freeware. So if your intestered respond.
