FS Panel Studio question-gauges are not showing up

HI
I purchased FS Panel Studio and am working on my first panel, but I have run into a problem that I can't seem to find an answer to in their online help manual.

I used the panel wizard to create a new panel folder, in the Lear airplane folder.  I sent the panel to Photoshop, created my own and saved it into the new panel.1 folder I had created. In FS Panel Studio, I added 4 gauges so far, saved my file, exported the panel and went to into FS to make sure it was working. The background panel is all that shows up. None of the gauges do. I have looked into the gauges folder for the panel I created and there is nothing there. Even if I copy them into the gauges folder they still do not appear. I played with the airplane cfg to see if like a new texture I had to add a new [fltsim.#] but that didn't work either.
I have deleted it and started over 4 times- and still all that shows up is my original panel.bmp file.
What did I do wrong.???

I would have suggested experimenting with CfgEdit first, before paying out for FS Panel Studio. I use it for  panels in all the M$ sims without a problem. Assuming the 2 programs are much the same, make sure the Preferences are set to the sim you're working with. This is presumably FS2002 so select it & make sure the path is pointed to the FS2002 root directory. The gauges should be read & selected from the FS2002\GAUGES folder, not kept in a separate directory.

Is this any help? If not, I suggest you contact the developer.
