Help

Postby David_Brice » Tue May 27, 2003 12:32 am

Guys, is there a BGL Decompiler or something I can use to extract scenery source files from the BGL's.

I ask because I have some scenery that I no longer have the original api macros from and would like to move the scenery coords to another location...

thoughts?

I haven't worked with it so I'm not 100% positive but this looks like what your trying to find. It says "BGLAnalyze - BGL File disassembler program."

I'm not sure that's the one - I've not tried it. There's a prog called AQUARIUS MACRO EXTRACTOR that disassembles bgl files using SCDIS.exe.

I've played around a little with it - to experiment - and have managed to extract one or two (simple) objects from scenery. However, it just extracts dozens of unidentified objects (APIs) that you have to go through and place in a scenery prog such as Airport to see what each one is.

Frankly I didn't find it to be very effective or useful.

Don't think you'll be able to do what you want I'm afraid.
