Coast Line Maker Question

Postby DanielF » Mon Mar 03, 2003 6:53 pm

I'm using Coast-Line-Maker v2.0 to redo the very inaccurate coastline of my city.  :)  It's looking very good so far, but I decided to change my mind about one part.  I set it up so there would be a coast with waves in an area that has some waves, but not the big ocean waves.  Is there a way to change the "style" of a VTP segment without redoing the whole thing?

No, the style you use applies to the whole of the VTP you modify.

But each VTP can be given a different style so long as they do not join eg 2 lakes in the same LOD 13 cell can be given different characteristics eg sand shore with waves, black shore no waves

PS

I've just realised this may not be what you are asking. Yes, you can edit your work afterwards using eg Wordpad or Notepad to change the characteristics (but subject to what I said above). You edit the asm file and then recompile.
