I just thought of something else. Would it be possible to make the trim deflection proportional to the difference between current bank and target bank? I think it would be much smoother and more responsive, basically a simple proportional controller.

Surprisingly the AILERON_TRIM_SET command works and it looks like the values are in percent!

-20 (>K:AILERON_TRIM_SET) Trim to the left with 20 % aileron deflection (left aileron up, right down)
20 (>K:AILERON_TRIM_SET) Other way round, trim to the right with 20 % aileron deflection (left aileron down, right up)

This is also the command we need to make your suggested controller and the Yoke positions we get with the (A:YOKE X POSITION,position) and (A:YOKE Y POSITION,position) variables!
The next posts from me comes with PM and D/L links when i am ready from my side!
Nice weekend!
