Enabling the FS2K Animated Road lights for FS9 Default roads

Postby PlutonianEmpire » Sat Jun 14, 2014 5:59 pm

I know FS9 already supports those lights somehow because I see them every night at my personal addon scenery for my local airports; so is there a way I could enable them globally somehow for FS9's default roads?
System Specs: HP 2000 Notebook PC; Windows 8.1 64-Bit; 4GB RAM; AMD E-300 APU w/ Radeon HD Graphics (2 CPUs), ~1.3 GHz; AMD Radeon HD 6310.

not sure how good your pc is but I don't think that adding them globally would be a good idea...Unless you mean by global,Multiplayer visible. I think adding them everywhere would be very bad on frames...I could be wrong.
If you play in multiplayer I believe most servers ask for frames locked at 20 to prevent global server lag. But its been 7 years since ive playes so... haha.
Not sure about FS2k. Good luck in your endeavors anyhow.

No, I wasn't referring to Multiplayer; my lousy and restrictive data caps prevent it. :P

I was referring to this:

The yellow dots on the roads, are animated, in the exact same manner as FS2K, in a scenery addon I acquired online for the area around YBCS in Cairns, Australia, and they show up in FS9 just fine, so was wondering if it was possible to enable them globally somehow, for all of FS9's default roads.

And I like to think my computer is decent enough to minimize any performance losses from globally enabling them....
