Is there a Gauge Available that will show Ship traffic? kinda like Radar but with boats instead....

so ima assume there is no intrest in such a rthing? if i knew how to make Gauges i would just make one but...... finding Carriers and running Missions on a P-3,S-3,P-8,P-2 or equivalant navy aircraft would be fun

For a Ship radar try the following :-

AVSIM Library - FSX gauges - sort by date.

Advanced Radar System ( ARS4 )

Did you get the Ship capable radar from Avsim ?

Let us know how it is going , I'm sure a lot of people would be interested in a radar that detects
surface AI ships.

I'd be interested in you opinions on it.

I have created a radar for my F-111 and it displays AI aircraft , you can select a specific AI and Lock it up.
I would love to add ships to it eventually .

Why don't ships appear as AI aircraft?

I don't have any AI ships installed but it seems to me that they would be programmed as AI aircraft with zero altitude. As such they should appear on TCAS gauges.

This is unlike the aircraft carriers that come with the sim and are programmed as airports. They appear as airports in the GPS and in FS Navigator but they do not appear on my TCAS gauge.

I dont see those in my GPS in FSX i remember a carrier off jacksonvill Fl in 2004 that did show on the GPS but it was stationary so i can see how it was programmed as an airport...

WELP i downloaded the Advanced Radar System ( ARS4 ) From avsim and i got to say i LOVE it it was exactly what i was looking for i had to tweek the size a little and installed it on my S-3B ( that i repainted as my old squad VS-30) and flew off the coast of Washington and there the battle group was a buncha blips on the scope i chased it and landed and flew a hundred miles out and retuned it worked WONDERFULLY Thanks COBS that was EXACTLY what i wanted now im off to go hunting!!!
