New Scenery Group needs Members

Postby GWSimulations » Thu Mar 25, 2004 3:01 pm

I am looking for people who would like to be involved in scenery construction, of fictional, and factual sceneries, in the UK. We need the following.
URGENTLY!
Webmaster- To establish and manage our website.
Developers-  To design scenery macros.
Compilers-    To put the macros together into the finished scenery.

ALSO!
Scouts- To research the scenery, and take photos on location.
Designers- To design the scenery macros, for the developers to make.

Interested? IM me, or post here.  :D

I may be interested! I have recently started a little website: http://www12.brinkster.com/uksd/UKSDhome.htm

This could very easily be converted to hold a design group if that is of any interest to you (would UKSceneryDesign do?). I have been toying with this idea for a while so I'm glad to see someone on the same wavelength!

I take it this would be for for FS2004 as there's no point designing for obsolete sims!

Sorry Stratobat :D I guess i'm biased as I've managed to misplace one of my FS2002 disks :( So that rules out that for me!

It will be for BOTH fs2002 and Fs2004, as scenery designed for one, seems to work fine with the other.
The group will be called AUKSP (Advanced UK Scenery Project) ;D

Can there be a United States division? Either way Ill join! I can compile or design scenery macros, whichever you have less of or need more.

We will work on UK projects first, but, when that is finished, we may try a different country. If we do, the US would probably be high on the list, but I don't know.

It will be for both airports, and general scenery.

I thought we could do Filton (EGTG) as our first project. What do you think? We could even put in the concorde (G-BOAF)
