Keeping PopUp windows visble when changing views.

Not sure where this "tip" should be posted - but I am sure the mods will move it if in the wrong place.

I ran across this in another forum and thought it would be of interest to everyone.

To keep any PopUp window visible when changing views (they normally dissapear) just add the following line to any window entry in the panel.cfg that you wish to have stay visible.

type=special

example:

[Window05]

Good tip.

Not sure why it was moved here as it applies specifically to FS9 & FSX.

I was wondering the same thing - very doubtful many will ever see it in this location.

Wish there was a "what's new" option to bring up just a listing of new posts from all forums as many other forum sites have.  If there is one here, I have not found it.

Perhaps the Scenery & Panel Design forum would be more appropriate.

Agreed - can you make that suggestion to the proper folks here?
