Landclass Editor

Postby xerxes » Fri Dec 18, 2009 1:56 am

Anybody have a link to a good free landclass editor, that does not require Excel?  I've been looking for two days.  I want to fix the rivers and roads going up the side of mountains.  How does one go about doing this?

FS9 or FSX?

Changing land class will not fix the problem. Land class textures only 'simulate' generic local streets and water features.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

xerxes,

Yes, SBuilder 2.05 for FS9. Has all the tools you'll need.

Also, I overlooked the fact that Airport Design Editor (ADE9X) now works for both FS9 and FSX. The 'Features' list the tools needed for your project, but......As ADE started out as a basic AFCAD style airport editor, I'm not sure how far away from a 'target' airport these tools can be used.

One of the authors, Scruffyduck, stops in occasionally and could shed light. Or visit their support site.

I got SBuilder and all that goes with it.  Having problems right out of the gate.  No TABCTL32.OCX file.  I got the file and all that goes with THAT.  Put it into the SBuilder folder and nothing.  Same error.

Typical.

ADE does not currently support terrain elements (lines and polys) for FS9 - only for FSX.  This will be added in a later version
