Add static planes to an airport

Postby idahosurge » Tue Sep 08, 2009 7:27 pm

I want to add some static KC-135's and C-17's  to KRIV as parked aircraft, but ADE does not come with these.  Some California ANG F-16's would be nice too.

Does anyone know where can I get some that I can add to KRIV using ADE?

See my post in this thread - http://205.252.250.26/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaB ... 1251962247

You will still have to source the planes, MAIW comes to mind ( I think I spelled that right).

Hope this helps,
Joe

Google turned up static object libraries that fit your need on these SimV pages....

http://simviation.com/simviation/index.php?ID=69&page=8&mark=5768
http://www.simviation.com/simviation/?ID=69&page=6&mark=5000
http://simviation.com/simviation/?type=item&ID=69&page=9

You could browse the rest of the FS2004 and FSX Misc. downloads for others of interest.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

our good friend OPA taught me how to use AI, and non-AI planes as static aircraft.  if you would like, pm me your email address, and I will send you ALL emails that I have from him explaining how to make static-AI craft.

We have a west coast ANG package coming out in the next week or so if you can wait for it.  It will give you everything you want and more including the KC-135s as AI.  The C-17s at KRIV are also part of an upcoming package in the works.
