Taxiway signs

Postby Kaworu » Mon Jul 30, 2007 3:53 pm

I have been told they are difficult to edit in fs9. I want to create them for a airport I am creating. Whats the easiest way to create them (I don't need to remove them, which can be troublesome!)

AFCAD2 is no longer under development  >:(.

If Lee Swordy reads this, I beg you to get the new features mentioned included in a new edition of AFCAD! I t would be of massive help to the fs community!

Know of any other way to create the signs? I'm not having success finding any tutorials.  >:(

i have no idea what you can do. if you could somehow take existing ones and edit them to say what you want then place them wherever you want them to go, itd be awesome. i dont understand why you cant make taxiway signs or replace or reposition them.

For FS9 only - find SBuilder v.2.05 (freeware), it looks like this might permit adding your own taxi signs. You would need to create a new project with coordinates of the airport being edited, then place the signs and describe what items should appear on each of them - I haven't tried it, but here are some screen shots to show what it offers.
