Re-creating gauges....

Postby John_Murphy » Thu Jun 21, 2007 11:12 pm

I've gotten gauges over the years and I hate to give up the .gau file, but they won't work with the new fs's (fs9, and fsx, so I hear)....  Even some of the fs9 gauges are in .gau format.  Is there ANY way to convert these older files so they can be used by FS9, FSX by someone like myself who could, many moons ago modify and do limited programming in BASIC?  Is there a utility that could hook onto the .gau format and update the gauge somehow -- ?  - John Murphy

Eventually there will be such a utility. Hopefully freeware.

BTW, "Backwards compatible" means "you have to bend over backwards to make it compatible", if you know what I'm hinting at!  ;)
