Error in XML file

Postby wji » Wed Mar 22, 2006 9:57 pm

O.K., I got my mojo working in that by dragging and dropping Chelan.xml and MortonWa.XML from Microsoft, BLGComp compiled two of the sweetest BGLfiles you ever saw.

My first Gmax-created XMLfile reports errors in certain lines. The <--Text stated to remove the comment markers --> which I think I did.

The red marker is the only code I removed. CAn anyone find any other errors herein?

Thnx much

He's right.  The --> arrow just below needs to be removed, as do the two lines below it.  Remove pretty much everything that looks like a complete sentence . . .

Thank you, captains for your help.

Do you edit the (apparently) generic XML file outputted from Gmax to "remove the commnet markers" as suggested in the file?

Thanks again from a newby to Gmax
P.S The included, sample Microsoft XML files outputted useable *BGL files just fine from Gmax.

Yeah, always edit the XML file.  And make darn sure to include the right lat/long, as the XML file invariably has a generic one in there.

By the way, does anyone know where that lat/long actually is?
