What started out as a simple AFCAD Adjustment

Postby KDSM » Wed Feb 22, 2006 8:08 pm

Has turned into me wanting to redo the whole airport includeing the main terminal and cargo areas

what are some techniques you scenery pros use to remove default buildings? I just want to remove them so I can make the tarmac bigger as the default one is much to small, then I plan to replace them with an object placer.

I have EZ-Scenery but it only moves/removes what was placed with it

I recently downloaded excbuilderv2.zip to do exactly what
you wish to do. It is a simple little utility that will allow you to
create "exclude" bgl's to remove default buildings, etc.

You could also use flattex101.zip, which can create "flatten"
as well as "exclude" files.

Hi KDSM

AS Gypsy_baron says Excludebuilder2 will do the job fine and that is what I have need using recently.  However, I have started using Sbuilder which can do exclude but also the VTP poly's (airport base) and flatten etc, so might be worth considering.

Bridman has done a great tutorial here on VTP & Flatten but approach for exclude is the same..

Now you have strated, there will be no stopping you! LoL ;D
