Quite possible, depending on which ships you are talking about.

There are a number of aircraft carrier packages available, of which
at least one ( relocatable USS Stennis ) is easily moved.

Any ship that is an API can be placed anywhere with a simple
XML file.

I've had success decompiling BGL's and editing the sca files
to reposition objects and then recompiling.

It really depends on the particular item you are trying to work with.

You can start here by downloading the relocatable USS Stennis:

http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/syb.c ... e=CV74.zip

Then I suggest you have a look around fs-shipyards.org

In particular, look in the downloads/scenery directory

http://fs-shipyards.org/index.php?ind=d ... iew&idev=5

Download:

FS2004 - 18 Carriers sceneries
FS2004 - RCBCO v2 Additional Aircraft carriers
FS2004 - Carrier Operations Package V2.0

There should be instructions included that will get you to
flying on and off the CV's.
