TEXTURE PROBLEM IN SCENERY DESIGN GMAX

Postby Shaoyu_Liu » Fri Dec 30, 2005 12:46 am

Hello every1
I am a newbee in fs scenery design, here is a problem :(

I assign a texture(8bit bmp format) to an object in GMAX and the texture is visible .
then I convert the mdl and xml to bgl  I put the bgl file in the  ...../addon scenery/scenery folder and the texture in .../addon scenery/texture folder
But  the texture is invisible .only the object can be seen in fs9
Are there some steps I missed?

THX! :)

A palleted 8-bit texture should work fine, but DXT1 is the preferred format. Double check and make sure it is 8-bit and not 24-bit or use one of the texture converters like ImageTool or DXTBmp to change the format to DXT1.
