Abacus Airport & Scenery Design

Postby ivormills » Wed Nov 02, 2005 3:53 am

I have just purchased the above product after reading various reviews. I have used Airport 260 before, but what attracted me to this program was the ability to import existing airports and add to the generic fs ones.
I was under the impression, maybe wrongly, that you could import any generic airport into a map view which would show you the existing airport, taxiways and buildings etc. that you could then add to. I am interested in upgrading the existing airports in the Scottish Islands, which are very sparse, and rather than start from scratch as in 260 i thought upgrading existing airports would be easier.

I am using FS2002, any help from someone with experience of working with ASD would be much appreciated.

I also have and used asd 2.1. for fs2000. made macros with Eod. Your far better off using FSSC .Im using that at the moment on fs2002pro.FANTASTIC.! ive downloaded charts for the airfield im designing EGNT ,use the chart as a background image .im also using FSDS 224 to make macros. give FSSC a go its easier on the grey matter if you know what i mean ;D      good luck
