Building Design in Gmax

Postby McLovin » Mon May 09, 2005 1:09 pm

I am very new to Gmax and dont have a clue how to build anything in gmax or placeing the textures. If someone can help me find a place or post a link on how to design a building please tell me. I am an Idiot when it comes to designing things in Gmax!

      Thank, Tex

The FIRST thing you have to do is go through ALL the tutorials that come with gmax (they're actually a separate download/install).  At the very least, this gets you a familiarity with the program.

Remember, the only difference between modelling an airplane and a building is the shape.  They're all made by manipulating shapes, points and performing (mostly) unnatural acts on them

Mostly, just make a box, it will blend in with all the other FS2004 buildings ::).
