Add-on Scenery

Using AFCAD 2.11, I have added edge lines to grass landing strips,( Stock FS). to make them more visible from the plane. Afcad , does not modify these stock runways, but creates a AF2-xx .bgl file, and places this file ,in the folder, Scenery of Addon Scenery. Upon restarting FS, I should see the edge lines, -- no no avail.
The only way I found was to put the BGL file into a scenery folder( I named it Various) ,child to the Scenery folder in FS.

Also, any  new airports, created with Fssc and Afcad, will appear on the Map, recognized by ATC , via their  made -up ICAO, as well by GPS, but they WILL NOT show,in a "NEAREST AIRPORT" list.
Any one  with an idea how I  can fix these 2 problems.
