Macro Texture Problem.

I have Eod and made a macro and when I went to put textures on it, I tried some textures from other macros I downloaded just to see if it worked and it did. Then when I used my own textures, it shows up black in the game. I do have the textures in the correct folder and stuff. Is there a reason why it shows up black?

p.s. I'm making the macro for CFS2.

Have you saved them in the right format?

I saved the textures as a bmp. Could it be from amount of detail because I used some from a photo.

What format is the bmp in (24 bit, 8 bit, 16 bit,DXT...)?

You can't use a straight 24 bit bitmap, Flight Simulator won't recognise it :)
