adding runways?? please read

Postby afsoc » Tue May 18, 2004 1:13 pm

hi all,

this may seem a stupid question but from someone who hasnt tried playing with scenery I was hoping someone could help me answer the question, Is it possible to add a default runway anywhere within fs2002. The main reason I ask is I was wanting to create a new runway south of Nevatim AB Israel, within the desert. All Im looking to do is place a runway in this area to operate a virtual AB, no taxiways or other airport features just a runway? any thoughts?

I would be very grateful for any replys.

steve.

You need a scenery creating program. Most of the designers use FSSC :)

Have a look here: http://www.fssc.avsim.net/

erm u could also try AFCAD its very user friendly and should be able to put taxiways helipdads the whole lot in the middle of your desert.. can even put in landing aids such as ils landing and vasi realy is a great program
havent used it for fs2002 but for fs2004 it works like a charm only takes a few minutes to do

or if you like i could create this runway for you and simply send u the bgl file for it? if your interested leave me an IM with the runway data on where and how you want it and i will get back to you
