Making / editing gauges in FS2002

Postby Dan » Mon Apr 12, 2004 12:39 pm

How can I edit or create *.gau or *.xml files for use in FS2002 Pro? FreeWare only please...
Dan

P.s. I waw going to PM matt this, but I can't find his username, so here it is:

Hi Matt, I spoke to you last year and you confirmed that you worked in *.XML. I have had a thought for a gauge that all of us FS2002 user would find gfreatly amusing / handy. I don't know if it has, or even can be done, but here it is:
I would like to see a radar screen, much similar to CFS1's 'Tactical Indicator' to show the pilot the positions of AI Aircraft around his aircraft. I could function similar to FSNavigator on multiplayer mode. Could this be done?
Thanks very much, Dan G  :o  ;D  ;)

Hi Dan. There are already several existing "radar" gauges for use in FS2002. You might like to check them out before thinking of creating your own. I used to have a link but lost it. Do a search for AIMap. This works fine for me but some people reported problems. There are alternatives.
