London City

Postby xFLAMESx » Sat Jan 03, 2004 6:41 pm

I recently got my copy of FS9 and was wondering if there were any idiot-proof freeware scenery editing pograms.

I have seen a few but they are either pay-ware or they have ridiculously complicated tutorials.

I'm VERY slow, please help.

There are a few buildings around the airport that SHOULDN'T be there (Dumbass Microsoft) and I would like to remove them.

I also want to 'fill-in' the docks/water so I can expand the airport.

Any progs that can help me do this would be great.

FSSC would probably be your best bet. http://www.fssc.avsim.net/

You can place little exclusion zones to remove the bits you don't like and it should handle the rest too.

You may be able to use AFCAD to place an apron over the water if you wanted too but its probably a case of just experimenting with a little area to find the combination you like. I would be inclined to use FSSC for it all!

Let us know how you get on!

Ahah ! ! !

Bird man you are THE man !

FSSC is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo easy to use it's unbelievable !

I now have more traffic flying in/out of The Docklands area than Heathrow AND O'Hare combined ! Yay!
Shame it's fictional :(

Still 9 :o runways at one airport is more fun than I can handle.

Thanx for the help
