Water-land mix-up

Postby cbdr » Tue Sep 30, 2003 7:24 pm

Hello everybody. I hope someone can help me with this problem.

The water and land textures get mixed up in many areas. For example, the Princess Juliana airport has the famous beach landing... Well, out in the bay, where there should be blue water, there is green land... Is there anything I can do besides re-installing the game (it usually works for a time and then goes back to the problematic situation)? New York City is also all screwed up. I run FS200 under Windows ME.

Thanks for your time.

Ooer Dave. You've got something really wrong there. First time I've heard this problem. Certainly not one that generally affects people - there are loads of shots posted of landings at Princess Juliana and there are no specially known problems at NY.

If you're using the 3 pukka MS install disks (I assume you're talking FS2002 here) I'd delete the lot and start again myself not having any knowledge of just how you set things up.

ME is not held as the best OS for fs but there's no reason why you should be having problems like this if you did a proper install and have got everyhting else set up properly on your PC (eg graphics card and up-to-date drivers)
