ERROR: Cannot change the window IDENT???

Hello felow Aviator's,

I'm currently working on a panel I downloaded for my Dash 8, Using CfgEdit, I have ceated a new window for the GPS and added the GPS display toggle switch.

When I try to change the ident in the GPS window properties from 40 to GSP_PANEL, I get following;

Cannot change the window IDENT.
The new window Ident is already in use.

I'm sure the panel was made for FS 98, has this got anything to do with it?

Any information would be mostly appreciated

CFGEdit thinks you already have a window named that in the panel, so it won't let you use it.  If you are absolutely sure there is no such window, go to the actual panel.cfg file and change it manually.  That is the only answer I can think of.
