Hi, Is there an add-on outside-air temperature guage that I can add to the panels of most of my aircraft? Or is there a way I can install the outside thermometer that's already on the Cessna 172 plane, onto my other aircraft?

Lots of different panels have o/side temp gauges ad when you install them the gauges all end up in your main FS2002\GAUGES folder.
If you use a prog like CFGEdit.exe which you can obtain here at Simv you can scroll through your folder, find the gauge(s) in question and add em to any panel you want

Hi Rollerball, I downloaded the cfgedit program. However, it only works for the FS2000 aircraft. Is there one for Fs2002 pro? I also want to add the temperature guage as a popup image when hitting shift+ 5 or whatever number isn't already asigned a command
Thanks, TW

TW. In CfgEdit click Options/FS Mode & Root Directory. Select the FS2000 option & browse to your FS2002 root directory folder in the appropriate box. CfgEdit will not read the latest XML gauges but it's perfectly usable for the occasional tweaking of FS2002 panels you have in mind. I've used it myself to design complex panels from scratch.
If you intend taking up panel design seriously you might consider purchasing the fully compatible FS Panel Studio by the same developer. This also has extra features.
