I need an editor for API files

Postby PCTools » Fri Apr 18, 2003 1:57 pm

I love enhance scenery. I need open API files with an API editor. The EOD editor permits the creation of a new API file, but i can't open an API file created before. I need also convert of course this API file to BGL file.
Thanks,

You can open & edit API files in Notepad. Add them to scenery with either Airport or FS Scenery Creator from the SimV Scenery design section.

Hi Hagar

Thank you for you recommendation. Let me explain better. I'm using LAGO scenery enhancer, and i need to covert the API macros in BGL files in order to use it in my LAGO scenery enhancer. It is possible?

Another question.
Is possible the use of this API macros in FSDyn utility? How do i edit and create DKI files?

Many many thanks.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with FSSE or FSDyn. I think FSSE is limited to scenery objects in the native format, whatever that might be. The only way I know to convert APIs to BGL format is to include them in a new scenery area using FSSC or Airport.
