My goodness!  How did I not remember making that?!?  bah!  Well thanks for taking the time to dig it up, cause even if I had managed to remember, I doubt I'd remeber which folder and topic it was in. :D

No I saved it as a .bmp file probly. I hit the drop down aero and I can't remember if it gave me the option to save it as a DXT3 file or not. All I have to use as a painting program is a program called ACROSOFT PICTURE SUITE. (Not sure on the spelling

Hi Blaze, you don't have to buy Paint Shop to repaint planes for FS. You can get one of the free ones. The two best ones are Paint.NET & GIMP. I recommend Paint.NET because it's easier to use.

If you need any help just start a new topic & Club & will try and help. :)

Just a FYI...I like really, really stunk trying to do repaints until I got these 2 programs and watched 1 video on youtube... I find out after watching this and using the 2 programs, I'm actually pretty good and have made a few repaints for some members here and on other sites.

Check this out, you need....

Paint.net http://www.getpaint.net/
and
DXTBmp http://www.softpedia...rs/DXTBmp.shtml

then watch this video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVcGUFPf ... r_embedded

If you use these 2 programs, both free by the way, and watch the video pausing it and doing it at the same time you'll understand really quick how it works..I was amazed.

I hope this helps you some, good luck with the repaints...

Cheers
Ari
