hiya people!

here is my repaint so far...

Ok so ive got to the stage where im looking at my repaint and thinking "well, it looks ok, but maybe I could do more?!" Its a fictional repaint based on a 152 pic off google, but it was side on and poor quality so I didint catch the reg. number. Ive added the reg. number of the cessna I learnt to fly in for now.

here is the pic I was inspired by... i know my lines dont quite follow that of the real aircraft, i wasn't looking when I drew mine lol!...

Image

(the problem is, the repaint kit for the corenado C152 is limited, and what ever you paint on the left side, is simply mirrored on the right, except for a small area where the reg. number goes! so i cant really put logos or writing on the fuselage)

so im just wondereing if u guys have any ideas or recomendations?! do I need to put the Reg. number on the wings too? what about the tail? ive looked at pics online but just wanted your veiws on what you think might look good on this aircraft.

thanks in advance!

Deano

to me it looks to be a NOSE NUMBER and not a tail number.  No idea of what it is though......

after further inspection of the suplied photo i have, there appears to be letters, clearly reflected on the underside of the wing, but simply do not appear on the fuselage?! ... you can clearly see the letter 'N'. me thinks this is photoshoped, or possibly mafia related

Nice paint!

I have seen many pics of planes for sale that have had the reg number edited out.

I believe this is done so prospective buyers have to contact the broker instead of contacting the owner directly, possible depriving the broker of his commission.

N- numbers indicate USA ownership and typically do not have the reg on the under-wing.

If you keep the UK reg number, I do believe an under-wing reg number is required.

As you know, you are limited to what you can do with reg numbers on Carenado models.

Personally, I would change the reg number to match the fuselage white, and add the under-wing.

cheers,
Joe

thank you very much for you input, I shall change the Reg number to white, and add it to the wing too. what you say about it being deleted in the pic makes perfect sense also!

thanks again, much appreciated!
