Does anyone know of any freeware for repainting aircraft?

Depends which version of FS. For FS9 all you need is DXTBmp & a decent graphics editor. There's plenty of freeware editors to choose from including GIMP & Paint.NET.

For "true FSX" aircraft with DDS textures you might need Imagetool included with the FSX SDK.

Ah, there you go then. ;)

I found this excellent free graphics editor yesterday. Genuine Freeware.
