first repaint ever

well, as you can geuss from the title, i finally took a shot at repainting a bird.

what do ya think?? also, How can i get some bare metal tetures for this bird?


like most, its the P-51 and i was able to find a decent C model:

I'll have to reload the tuskegee paint, I just adjusted the color to look a bit more realistic.

I see this only now.
For a proper Tuskegee, you'll need to get rid of the killmarks, the QPN registration and the serial and apply the proper registration. Also, I don't think they ever flew camouflaged P-51's, so you'll need to go for natural metal. They carried no serials on those red tails, so you can leave that out.

I don't see you as being overly critical. You are providing useful information that most of us, me first of all, most likely did not know. Historical accuracy is king, you know...
