When it comes to anything to do with developing, I might as well be a 110 year old lady with her first computer, so can someone talk me through a repaint step by step please? Thank you.

1st. download DXTBMP youll need it

2nd. have a program like photoshop

Again the biggest thing is....FS9 or FSX?
DXT.Bmp will work fine for FS9...But will give you all kinds of problems saving for FSX!
Grab PhotoShop 8(C/S)....With plugin it will do all the work for you when saving for FSX.

For six hundred bucks I don't think so. Photoshop 5.5 works just as good as 8. And it's $10 on ebay.

For FSX. Any free paint shop pro like in the first tutrial?, even a trial version will do? In the meantime, I'll give a search a go.

Well...I still use 5.5 now and again...But C/S for painting/converting...Money well spent!
