First try

Can someone tell me what went wrong please. I decided to try and repaint the default 737-800. I used DDS Converter to change to image to jpeg so that I could view/play with it. As I have never tried this before, I changed the logo on the tail and the base colour only to see how it would turn out before I spent time doing something that would not work. I converted it back, placed it back in the directory it came from and then ran FSX.
What I did looked quite good except for the following. The aircraft was a patchwork. The tail had painted windows, my new tail art was wrapped around the fuselage, basically, nothing was where it should be, it looked like something out of The Matrix  :(

Try flipping the edited image before converting back to DDS format.

You would be better off using an uncompressed format like BMP or TGA to edit.

Thanks Hagar, I had turned the image for ease of "painting" and forgot to place it back in the same orientation  ::) ::)
