That would be me . . . not version 12, but CorelDRAW!, nevertheless.
There's no doubt CorelDRAW! is one of the best paint-programs (graphic programs?) ever created
I have moved on to Adobe PhotoShop but this does not diminish the usefulness of CorelDRAW!

To repaint aircraft textures all one (really) needs is a paint-prog which supports Layers and the ability to use them and the ability to learn how to use said paint-prog

IMO, it makes no difference which paint-program this may be.

That's what I needed to know!! I have been pulling out hair for the last 24 hours trying to get to know corel draw. I have lettering any paint on the fuselage in layers or objects as corel draw calls them. I just can't figure out how to see how it looks on the plane before I go any farther. Also how do I get it all back into a .bmp file? Corel Draw doesn't support it??

Thanks for the help!! :)

Most graphics applications support BMP format. Try "File/Save As" or "File/Export". Unfortunately this will usually save the files as 24-bit images which won't be much help.

For edited textures to display in FS they will need converting to a 16 or 32-bit Extended BMP format. You will find DXTBmp essential for this job. http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/programs/dxtbmp.htm

DXTBmp will also open files in most recognised image formats.

Thanks for the info. It's enought to get me headed in the right direction. I hope to have a decent paint job to display soon.   :)
