These are my first repaints, some cheating here as the original plane and associated files are of my own design. Thought it would be interesting to see how it would look in a few other schemes (the regular one's grey-blue), I really like the black one and will probably fly it more often in those colours from now on.  Now to get working on some psychedelic tie-dyed Cessna's!

excuse me, but, constructive criticism...

You're off to a great start, but the paint jobs seem too smooth.  When I download planes, I want it to look real, not perfect.  For example, seams between panels are a simple, yet affective strategy.

Look good Which program are you using to repaint with?

Thanks for replies...as for the panel lines I am still quite a novice when it comes to creating textures, and have absolutely no experience using layers and such.  Doesn't help that I am using MS Paint as the editor!  Anyway, because it's a concept aircraft (and the real item would be intended to be very smooth anyhow), I figured it would be appropriate to leave it as such for the time being.    Probalby wouldn't take much to make me change my mind and have a weathered version someday...

To add something, may I. I use PSP9, I love to use this alot because you can do so much to the image and also u can press Ctrl+Z (undo) as much as u want and go back to where u started from when u opened it. As with MS Paint, it only allows you to go back 3 times and no more. Im not saying, GO RIGHT NOW AND GET THIS PROGRAM, Im simply saying this is a good program. Wish u well in the painting world.

PIXIA 3.1 to do your repaints. It's free and has the ability to use layers such as Hybrid which allow the paintkit features such as rivets, doors, etc., to show thru the paint. Using Adobe Photoshop use the Magnify layer.
