Aircraft repaint---please help

-I ??? have now another question,will repaint textures for fs2004 work on fs2002?? ??? :P

---I DOWNLOADED 777 repain texture from this site,and when i openned it,it was SAME BLACK SCREEN!!!

I know what you mean, as i did the same thing.  im not sure why they cant be viewed, but there are some good blank textures for all the stock aircraft @

and the pages that follow. These do show up on ms paint. in addition, most downloaded aircraft have viewable texture files.

however, fs2002 textures largely cannot be edited just using ms paint. unfortunately, youll need to buy paint shop pro or a similar graphics program to repaint :(. im not quite sure why, but ms paint never relays the textures onto the model, (no textures are displayed)

You can use MS Paint!... but i wouldnt if your after some serious repainting.. once you save the bitmap its the same as any other, you just need to convert it to DXT3 or 32Bit (and not even psp or photoshop can save bmps in those formats  ;)) just get hold of imagetool, or dxtbmp to convert
