Text gets mirrored

Would there be a way to make the text be the same on both wings? In this case, the C182S only has one wing to display, so if I put text on it then on the right wing the text will be mirrored. Is this at all possible or am I out of my head?

;D

Sorry, no can do, as the some/most default aircraft use repeated textures, text and graphics applied in some areas will appear repeated and reversed.

If your doing larger aircraft such as 747, 77, mabey 737, there are bits where you can apply text that will stay the correct way round, thought i'd better add that. Check out a default ones for examples.

Don't waste your time repainting the default aircraft. They are OK for learning on but they are a waste of effort for the type of reason you have discovered if you want to get any serious results. Their textures are 'quick and easy' which is why M$ did it that way in the first place.

Didn't someone overcome that, though? ??? ???

IIRC, there's an aircraft for download here that was part of the FS2002 default lineup, and someone remapped it to get rid of the mirrored textures.
