Default Cessna 172 - Tail Number

Can I change the position of the tail number. Im working on a re-paint which needs the number to be lower, and further forward on the fuselage, is it possible to change where the tail number is positioned.

I could be wrong here, but I think the tail number is set in the model file, and I dont think you can change it, but I am not sure, maybe someone else knows fersure... ;D

No, you cannot change the position of the tail number on ANY of the default aircraft, as it is part of the texturing that M$ does.  With almost any other addon aircraft, the tailnumber is part of the paintjob, but with all M$ aircraft it is a vairable number that matches what you input in the aircraft.cfg (not sure how it works! ::)).

You can always add the tail number to your repaint and turn off the default n-number in the aircraft selection menu. ;D

ok thanks, I cant really add it to the textures.. unless i want it backwards on one side  :-/
